搜索9大巨頭公司造了一個新總線

為了提供數(shù)據(jù)中心的數(shù)據(jù)傳輸性能,Alibaba, Cisco, Dell, Facebook, Google, HP, Huawei,Intel和Microsoft 一起發(fā)布了新一代互連總線 CXL(Compute Express Link)。
不知這是不是巧合,正好昨天NVIDIA發(fā)布并購Mellanox,Intel就發(fā)布了CXL總線。
CXL是一個基于PCIe Gen5的標準,旨在解決下一代產品中的緩存一致性和互連問題。UPI應用于Intel的CPU之間,解決不了CPU與其它芯片的連接問題(有的人肯定會想,PCIE不就可以么)。隨著公司和業(yè)界擴展到采用GPU、FPGA和其它加速器,對更廣泛和更快的互連的需求已經(jīng)成為一個更大的行業(yè)主題。
